Party To Raise Money For Terminally Ill David

A children’s Christmas party is taking place at Bournemouth pier today to raise money for a little boy who only has months left to live.

5 year old David, from Burton in Christchurch, has a form of brain cancer and his parents have set up an appeal so they can make his last Christmas extra special.

Sundays party starts at pier from 4pm until 8pm and is for kids right up to 14 years old.

The organisers have told Heart: “We hope this will prove to be the Christmas party of the Century as it will include not only Santa in his grotto, the fantastic live band

‘Fifth avenue’ with accompanying disco and there will be clowns, magician, acrobats, party games, face painting and a fantastic selection of food (all healthy) and there will be a special appearance of the Power Rangers unique to this party prior to the launch of their new series in 2011.

“Because this party has been planned to give children from the area the greatest party experience, admission is by ticket only which is £10 per child.  Adults will be able to accompany the child and will be afforded full bar facilities.”

There’s 50 tickets available just for Heart listeners – which you can get by calling either Graham on: 07775 441817 or Macala on: 07584 898584.

Alternatively you can get tickets from PP Printing in Christchurch, at 31A The Bargates.
