Pedestrian Critical After Bournemouth Crash

A man's in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car outside the Bournemouth International Centre on Exeter Road.

The 26-year-old from Bournemouth was knocked down at about 12.15am on Sunday 10 November, by a BMW 3 Series being driven by a 25-year-old man from the area.

The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The road was closed for several hours to allow officers from Dorset Police's Traffic Department to conduct a forensic examination of the scene.

Any witnesses are asked to call PC 881 Freeman at the Traffic Department at Poole on 101.
