Road Rage Attack In Poole

Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a reported road rage incident in the town.

The incident, involving a 17-year-old boy driving a green Renault Clio and a man driving a grey Audi A3, happened along Old Wareham Road and in the Wessex Trade Centre at around 11.25am on Wednesday, 27 October 2010.

The Audi A3 had a registration number beginning with an F.

“Following a disagreement between the two motorists, the grey Audi pulled up alongside the other car and the driver threw a coin through the open window that struck the driver of the green Renault on the eye.

“The victim, from Poole, sustained a small cut.

“I understand that there was a lot of traffic at the time and it’s possible that a number of people may have seen this incident.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone whose attention was drawn to the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the disagreement, to contact me as soon as possible.

“Any information could help me to find out exactly what happened.”
