Robbery at Sandbanks Building Site

Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a burglary in the Sandbanks area.

The incident, in which unknown offenders forced entry to a container on a building site in the Arlington Road area and stole power tools, happened between 5pm on Thursday 24 November 2011 and 7.30am on Friday 25 November 2011.
 
Police Constable Laura Prowse, of Poole police, said:  “Items stolen include drills and measuring tools. 
 
“Among the tools are two red Paslode spit guns worth £350 each, a Makita hammer drill, a Makita radio, two Makita SDS drills, a Makita battery charger, two Dewalt cordless drills worth £200 each and a Dewalt laser level worth over £170.
 
“Two white men, one wearing rigger-type boots and baggy trousers, were seen in the area at the time and I am very keen to talk to them.
 
“Also, I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this burglary, and anyone with any information about those responsible, to contact police as soon as possible.
 
“I would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered tools in unusual circumstances or for an unusually low price.”
