Shamrock Buses Go Bust
Shamrock Buses has 'ceased trading' after 9 years of operating in and around Poole.
A statement on the company's website read:
We are sorry to announce that Shamrock Buses has ceased trading. We are no longer running bus services. RATP Yellow Buses have taken over operation of route 111. Wilts & Dorset have taken over services 31 and 41 and are running them to our normal timetables. Wilts & Dorset have taken over the following School buses aswell:
- 31Q (QE School - Verwood - Three Legged Cross - West Moors) [Timetable here]
- 36 (Bournemouth Schools - Branksome - Seaview) [Timetable here]
- 40A (QE, Allenbourne and St Michaels School - Gaunts Common - Holts Heath - Horton Heath) [Timetable here]
- 76 (St Peters School (Iford & Southbourne) - Ferndown - Three Legged Cross - St Leonards) [Timetable here]
- 55 (Bournemouth Schools - Fishermans Walk - Boscombe - Bournemouth Rail Station) [Timetable here]
- 88 (Bournemouth Schools - Christchurch - Highcliffe) [Timetable here]
- 89 (Bournemouth Schools - Christchurch - Highcliffe - New Milton - Lymington) [Timetable here]
Wilts & Dorset will be operating these services to their full timetables as of 07th July 2011. Wilts & Dorset and RATP Yellow Buses will also be accepting certain passes - find out more at:
