Teachers' Strike: Dorset School Closures

17 October 2013, 05:54

Hundreds of schools across Dorset will be closed or partially closed on Thursday October the 17th 2013.

Teachers are walking out for the day across the South East, South West, London and the North East.

Union leaders say teachers are “angry, frustrated and concerned” about their pay and pensions and increasing workloads.

The strike will affect thousands of children and their parents, with many forced to take time off work or pay for childcare.
