Teenager In Hit And Run In Gillingham

Dorset police are investigating after a teenager was hit by a car.

It happened at around 3.30am on Sunday 7th October 2012 near to Legends Nightclub in Gillingham.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene.

The pedestrian, a 19-year-old Wiltshire man, suffered leg injuries and was taken to Yeovil Hospital.

A 23-year-old later handed himself in to police, he's being questioned on suspicion of GBH.
