Teenager Robbed On His Bike
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed while he cycled in the Poole.
It happened at 2.40am on Monday 8 October 2012 on Penn Hill Avenue near the junction with St. Osmund’s Road.
The victim, a 19-year-old man from Poole, was pushed over by three hooded men who ran off with his bike (a black Specialized Hardrock mountain bike with silver front suspension forks).
He wasn't hurt.
Police Constable Paul Mellor, of Poole police, said: “This was a callous attack on a young man as he cycled.
“The three suspects were all wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this attack, or may have information about the offenders to contact Dorset Police in confidence at the earliest opportunity.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 08:26. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
The busy road's being made two lanes in both directions between Segensworth and Titchfield - it's due to take 18 months.
