Two Women Attacked In Bournemouth
Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after two young women were allegedly assaulted in the town – with one man being arrested.
The women, aged 18 and 22, and both from the Bournemouth area were involved in a verbal altercation along Old Christchurch Road, at around 2.15am on Saturday 12 May 2012, shortly after leaving Dusk Til Dawn nightclub.
The 22-year-old woman sustained injuries to one of her wrists as a result of the incident.
Detective Constable Katie Savill, of Bournemouth CID said:
"A young woman has sustained a serious injury following the verbal altercation and it is important that witnesses come forward.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident take place and anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area during the hours of Saturday morning".
A 30-year-old Poole man has been arrested and released on bail while enquiries continue.
