Woman In Court Over Mother's Murder

A daughter's appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the murder of her mother.

Ecila Henderson, 39, denied stabbing retired New Forest teacher Rosemary Armstrong, 69, to death.

She was found on August 25 last year outside a block of flats in Bournemouth.

The brief hearing at Winchester Crown Court was adjourned and a trial date set for July 25 by Recorder of Winchester Judge Keith Cutler.

Henderson, of Queensland Road, Bournemouth, was remanded in custody under Section 48 of the Mental Health Act.
