Apply for 2010 Luton Carnival

It may be 4 months away, but preparations for the 2010 Luton International Carnival are already underway.

Traders, street dancers and artists are already requesting to take part - the UK Centre for Carnival Arts and Luton Cultural Services Trusts needs more people to sign up.

Andy Grays, Director of Arts for Luton Cultural Services Trust said:

"We always need to start early preparing for the carnival. It takes a year to plan an event of this scale featuring a spectacular parade and great family entertainment. This is an amazing event which celebrates the diversity of cultures in the town together with a variety of crafts, international food stalls and street entertainment.

"The carnival is a fabulous opportunity for individuals and community group to showcase their talents to thousands of people and an ideal event for traders and fundraisers, so if you're an artist, DJ, trader or want to take part in the parade, please get in touch now."
