Five people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his thirties was found with serious head injuries at a house in Luton.

Police and ambulance crews were called to a terraced house in Stockwood Crescent at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 7 August 2012.

The man was rushed to the Luton and Dunstable hospital where he is in a critical condition.

Four men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.

Scenes of crimes officers are carrying out a forensic examination and police are carrying out further inquiries.
