Car Damaged By Bowling Ball

Police reckon vandals have used a bowling ball to smash the rear window of a car parked in Leighton Buzzard.

Bedfordshire Police were called to Victoria Terrace, Hockliffe Road, Leighton Buzzard at 3.30am on Tuesday 24 January 2012 to reports a silver Peugeot 206 had had its rear window and tailgate smashed.

A distinct bowling ball was discovered on a nearby driveway and it's thought that was used during the vandalism.

Officers are keen to trace the owner of the bowling ball and would like to speak to anyone who was in the Hockliffe Road area of Leighton Buzzard at the time of the vandalism, or anyone who may have seen the offender or offenders.

Anyone with information on the incident can contact PC Lee Miles in confidence on the Bedfordshire Police non-emergency number 101 or text information to 07786 200011 .
