Biography

At the World Championships in 2011 Abi helped to qualify the K4 500m boat for the London 2012 Olympic Games, just narrowly missing out on a medal.

2009 was a busy year for Abi. She competed at the Australian Youth Olympics, where with crew-mate Jess Walker, she won a silver medal in K2 500m. She passed her grade VIII piano exam and also won a place at Oxford University to study mathematics, but turned it down.

Abi has read War and Peace and her Great Grandma was lady-in-waiting to Queen Victoria!
