Appeal After Criminal Damage At Howard Centre

Police appealing for information about a criminal damage incident in Welwyn Garden City have released CCTV stills of a man they would like to speak to in connection with it.

The incident happened at about 12.10am on Saturday 2nd April in the Howard Centre. One or more offenders have jumped off the escalator and onto a nearby stall, damaging it and the contents within. They then made off.

PC Joe Clapham, investigating, said: “We are really keen to speak to the young man in the footage or for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.

“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about this incident to contact us.”
