Assault In Luton

Police are seeking independent witnesses to an assault which happened on Tuesday, April 5 in Bretts Mead, Luton.

The incident happened at approximately 10pm when a 35 year old man contacted the police to report that he was being assaulted.

Officers attended the scene and shortly after arrested a man in connection with the incident and a further man was arrested this morning after handing himself in to the police.

DS Marie Gresswell, investigating, is keen to trace anyone who saw the assault or has information about the circumstances that led to the assault.

DS Gresswell said: “Although we believe the individuals involved in this incident know one another we are keen to piece together exactly what happened before the assault and I would urge anyone who has information relating to this assault to contact the police, in confidence.”
