Cash Taken From Harpenden ATM

Police appealing for information about an attempted theft from a cash machine in Harpenden have released CCTV stills two young men they would like to speak to in connection with it.

The incident happened at about 2.30pm. Two men have tampered with the ATM outside Barclays Bank on High Street. A member of the public discovered a device that had been fitted a short while later and reported it to the bank.

PC Matthew Wright, investigating, said: “We are really keen to speak to the young men in the footage or for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.

“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about this incident to contact us.”
