Do You Recognise This Bike?

Stevenage Police are appealing to anyone who recognises this black and red Carrera mountain bicycle (pictured).

The bike was recovered by officers earlier this week and is suspected to have been stolen.

Detective Sergeant Gez Ellis from Stevenge Local Crime Unit said: “This looks like an almost brand new bike and is in extremely good condition.

“We would very much like to return it to its rightful owner so if you recognise it or you think you know who it belongs to, get in contact by calling our non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222 or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

Property recovered by police is often unable to be returned to its rightful owner. You can register any valuables - not just mobile phones - on the free database www.immobilise.com. It's quick and easy to do and can help police return your property to you if it is lost or stolen.

A 21-year-old Stevenage man has been arrested and bailed until April on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
