Luton Jewellery Robbery

Detectives in Luton are appealing for information after a jewellery shop was broken in to during the early hours of Monday (April 11).

Thieves broke into A K Goldsmiths in Dunstable Road, Luton at approximately 6am.

The shutters of the shop were broken and the door forced before offenders took an amount of jewellery and left the scene.

Detective Constable Rachel Chandlerting, is keen to trace anyone who saw the burglary take place or anyone who may have been offered cheap jewellery for sale.

DC Chandler said: "This must have caused quite a commotion at this time in the morning and we believe a white man was seen leaving the shop before getting into a light coloured vehicle at around the time of the burglary. 

"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone who has been offered cheap jewellery for sale to come forward and speak to the police."
