Drug Dealers Jailed For Six Years

Two men are behind bars after being caught by police who were watching a house in Luton.

Around 9 kilo's of heroin with a street value of around £225,000 was delivered to outside a house in Holkham Close after being driven down from Liverpool. 

Police pounced after a holdall containing  the drugs was handed over back on October 8th last year. 

31 year old James Poland of Water Street, Thornton, Merseyside and Imtiaz Haider, who's 36 and of Holkham Close both pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply heroin and were each jailed for six at Luton Crown Court today. 

When officers moved in to arrest them Poland tried to drive off and hit one of the surveillance vehicles and Haider attempted to run off before being caught by several officers.
