Head Injury Victim Dies

A murder investigation's been started after a Polish man found with serious head injuries at home in Luton died in hospital six days later.

Bedfordshire Police say the 51 year old man had been the victim of an assault.  He was found hurt at his home on Stockwood Crescent on Tuesday 7 August 2012 and died at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital on the afternoon of Monday 13 August.

Two other Polish men appeared in court on Friday 10 August, before the victim died, charged with causing the 51 year old grievous bodily harm.

Janusz Przystanski, 48, and Konrad Kaczysky, 30, both of Stockwood Crescent, Luton, were due to appear at Luton Crown Court on Tuesday 21 August.
