Man in close shave with the law

A cheeky customer who went into a barber shop has ended up having a close shave - with the law...for after having a hair cut he left without paying.

Now police have issued before and after pictures of the man which were taken on the shop's CCTV system.

The man went in the barber's shop in Hitchin Road, Luton on November 9 and while sitting in ther barber's chair spoke to the proprietor about scrap metal.

He asked for his hair to be shaved at the sides and at the end left without paying.

Now police have taken the unusual step of releasing pictures of the man before and after his hair cut.
