Man Suffers Shattered Jaw After Attack

Two people have been arrested after a 29 year old man suffered a shattered cheekbone and jaw in Luton town centre on Sunday morning (June 26).

The 19 year old man and 21 year old woman have been bailed while officers continue the investigation into the assault, which happened outside The Exchange Club in King Street at approximately five to four in the morning.

They are seeking information from the public about a third person involved in the attack.

Detective Constable Mark Bryce, investigating, said: "We believe another person was involved in this incident and he is described as a black man, approximately 5'11" tall with a medium build.  He was wearing dark shoes, dark jeans, a black jumper and a black beanie hat.

"It is important that anyone who witnessed this assault or anyone who has information about the identity of this third person speaks to the police."
