Rare Learning Tablet Stolen In Burglary

Detectives are appealing for information to trace a rare Vinci Tab II learning tablet – which was being trialled in the UK, which was stolen following a burglary in Hitchin.

 The tablet – which was one of four sent to the UK for a trial, was stolen during the burglary which took place at the property in the early hours of Wednesday September 5th.

The device itself is a seven inch touch screen tablet and as in the image the surround is a padded red handle designed for easy grip for toddlers. 

Detective Constable David Quinn, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are determined to trace this device and need help from the public. The device is very distinctive, There is nothing like it on the British market at the moment so it would be very unique if anyone was to be shown this.

It has a red handle designed for easy grip for toddlers. I would urge anyone with information on this burglary, or who may have seen or been offered this device for sale to get in contact with us immediately.”
