Teen Stable After Stabbing In Park

A teenager was assaulted and stabbed yesterday afternoon in a Luton park.

The 17 year old was walking with two friends in the park between Longcroft Road and Dallow Road at approximately 4.50pm when they were approached by three other youths.

A conversation began between the victim and one of the other boys before he was assaulted.

The victim suffered serious stab wounds during the assault and police arrested a 15 year old at the scene on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm.

The victim was airlifted to hospital, but is now in a stable condition.
