An 18 year old woman suffered a six inch cut to her arm when she was threatened at a cash point in Luton.

The robbery happened at around 6.30 on Friday as the victim approached the Lloyds TSB cash point in Park Street, Luton.

Three Asian men and a mixed race man demanded money from her before pushing her arm against the wall of the bank, threatening her with a knife and causing the cut to her arm.

The men then left the scene towards Luton campus of Bedfordshire University.

PC Tom Stean, investigating, is keen to trace anyone who saw the incident or anyone who can help trace the offenders.

PC Stean said: "This area of town is very busy at this time of the evening and we know there were other people at the cash point at the time of this offence.  I would appeal to these people to come forward and speak to the police."
