Woman Dies In Car Crash
A 31 year old woman was killed and another is fighting for her life after a two vehicle crash near Luton on Saturday.
Ambulance crews were called to Newlands Road in Slip End at seven minutes past two.
The woman who died was a front seat passenger in a blue Renault Clio. The 26 year old driver received life-threatening internal injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge.
A 49 year old woman who was driving the other car, an Audi, was taken to the Luton and Dunstable hospital for suspected internal bruising.
Beds police are appealing for witnesses.
