Radio in schools

Be the Weather Kid

Have you ever listened to one of Ashleigh's weather reports... expected sunshine, and got showers?

If you have, we're sorry, but that's why we're on the look out for a brand new weather kid to show her how's it done

How to get involved

Heart Breakfast has teamed-up with Radio in Schools , our brand new project we think will help kids with reading, speaking and listening.

It’s a really easy to use podcasting platform that lets you create and store podcasts then share them with pupils and teachers in school. Best of all, Radio in Schools has linked up with us here at Heart and the whole radio industry to provide lesson plans and links to Literacy Frameworks and the National Curriculum.  Radio in Schools is aimed at infants, primary and secondary schools across the UK, and any youth organisations that work with children and young people who would like to get their voice heard.

We have now stopped taking entries for radio in schools but listen here for the finalists entrants, and dont' forget, you can always check www.radioinschools.co.uk if you'd like to sign up your school for the programme any time
