Heart's Mini for EACH

Thanks to your generosity Heart Breakfast's Rob and Chrissie have been able to hand over a brand new Mini to the East Anglia's Children's Hospice (EACH) in Ipswich.

Money raised by our charity, Have a Heart, means we could fund a mini and nursing costs to help EACH provide care and support seriously ill children in their own homes.

Rob and Chrissie handed over the keys to Nurse Anna Stollery and fundraiser Nikki Brown.

"Truly inspiring..."
Rob and Chrissie said: "The work that EACH does across region is truly inspiring and we are delighted to support them. We’d like to thank all our Heart listeners for their amazing generosity with our Have a Heart Appeal. By enabling us to provide the Mini it will make a real difference to improve the lives of seriously ill children and their families in our local area."

"Generosity has been amazing"

Lindsey Newton from East Anglia's Children's Hospice said: "Being able to get out to families who need us, who need our support and care, being able to reach more families out in the community as well as helping two hospice houses will make a big difference and the generosity of Heart listeners has been amazing and will make such a difference to the families we care for"

Earlier this year our Have a Heart Appeal raised over £330,000 for Children's Hospices UK. The 2011 Appeal included a star-studded fundraising day featuring the likes of JLS and Westlife, X-Factor winner Matt Cardle and Olly Murs.
