£20 million for crossings in East Anglia
Suffolk County Council is set to put 20 million pounds over the next 3 years towards two vital new bridges being built in the county.
The cash would go towards two projects – the Wet Dock Crossing in Ipswich and the third crossing in Lowestoft.
The government already committed tens of millions of pounds for both projects after they were given the green light in the Chancellors budget.
It’s hoped work to build them will start by 2020.
