3 Hurt After School Bus Crash Near Norwich

Two children and a car driver have been treated for minor injuries after a school bus crashes into a field near Norwich.

Police were called at 2.30pm to reports of a collision between a car and a coach on the A1151 at Rackheath.

The coach left the road and came to rest in a field.

There were 64 high school pupils on board the coach at the time. Two of the pupils were given medical assistance at the scene for minor injuries.

None of the pupils were taken to hospital. All the pupils were transferred to another coach and were safely returned to school.

The male driver of the car - who is in his 70s, was taken to hospital to be checked over.

A recovery truck has now removed the vehicles.
