Bury Shooting: Man Has Bail Cancelled

It happened last summer when a man was shot in the stomach.

A 20-year-old man from Derbyshire who was arrested in connection with a shooting in Bury St Edmunds last summer will now face no further action. 

Police were called at 6.45pm on Tuesday 4 August to reports that a man had been shot in the stomach at an address in Forum Court.

The 20-year-old man from the Matlock area was arrested on Tuesday 26 January and was one of a number of people arrested during the course of the enquiry. 

He has now had his bail cancelled and has been told he faces no further action in relation to this incident.

A trial is currently ongoing at Ipswich Crown Court in relation to those charged in connection with the shooting.
