Elderly Woman Injured In Ipswich Crash

A woman was taken to hospital after the crash in Ipswich yesterday morning.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 10.35am on the 6th  May to the A1156 Bury Road, in Ipswich, to a report of a two vehicle collision and one casualty.

A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.

They treated a woman, believed to be in her 70s, who had suffered an injury to her chest.

She was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or serious.
