Four Men In Hospital After Beccles Crash

Four men have been taken to hospital - two of them with serious injuries - following a two-car crash on the A145 London Road at Beccles.

It happened at the junction of Peddars Lane around 12.10am this morning, Monday 13 July, when a red Volvo 850 collided with a Vauxhall Vivaro.
 
A male passenger in the Vivaro has life threatening injuries including a collapsed lung, a fractured tibia and fibia. The 68-year-old man driving the Vivaro sustained cuts to head while another passenger sustained a fractured rib. The 32-year-old driver of the Volvo sustained bruising.
 
The four were taken to the Norwich & Norwich and James Paget hospitals.
 
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to call PC Mark Head at Suffolk Police headquarters road policing unit by dialling 101, and quoting CAD 1 of Monday 13 July.
