Ipswich Man Dies On Essex Beach

A man who died after being found critically ill on a beach in Essex was from Ipswich.

The 51 year old man died having been taken ill on the beach off the St Osyth Coast during the early hours of Friday morning. 

A woman, aged 40 from Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of assisting a suicide.

She has been released on bail pending further enquiries until June 26.

A post-mortem examination on the body of the 51-year-old man from Ipswich who died found the preliminary cause of death to be drowning.
