Ipswich Man Jailed For 12 Years
A 28-year-old man has been jailed for 12 years for rape, sexual assault, possession of indecent images and making threats to kill offences.
Christopher Lander, from Ipswich, admitted four counts of rape, four counts of sexual assault by penetration, the sexual assault of a child and causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He also admitted two counts of making threats to kill, making indecent images of children and distributing indecent images of children.
He appeared at Ipswich Crown Court yesterday and was jailed for 12 years, given an extended licence period of three years and ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
The court heard Lander had filmed himself raping and sexually assaulting a woman and had threatened a young girl he had sexually abused.
