East Anglia Local Election: Results

There's been a mixed bag of results in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Labour supporters in East Anglia will be waking up to very good news as they've held control in Ipswich and Norwich councils.

But the party did lose seats in Great Yarmouth to UKIP making Labour now the third biggest party there, behind the Tories and then UKIP.

It means the Conservatives are still the biggest party there, although no one has a majority.

Here is a breakdown of all the results;

Ipswich

Labour - 33 (gaining 1 from Conservatives)

Conservative - 13

Liberal Democrat - 2

Norwich

Labour - 26 (gaining 4 from the Green Party)

Green Party - 10

Liberal Democrat - 3

Great Yarmouth

Conservative - 14

UKIP - 12 (gaining 4)
