Man Arrested After Lorry Sheds Liquid In Creeting St Mary

A 43 year old man's been arrested after a lorry shed a liquid onto the road in Creeting St Mary.

Suffolk Police stopped a curtain-sided lorry on the roundabout at the A140/ A14 interchange at around 9.10am this morning.

The vehicle had been carrying two containers but one of them had slipped out and was on the verge leaking.

Enquiries are underway to determine what the substance is and Kettle Lane was shut for around eight hours.

The man is currently being questioned on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
