It happened at around 4.55pm yesterday when a grey Citroen C1 driving towards Beccles was involved in a collision with a silver Toyota Yaris and a white Ford Transit Tipper.
The Citroen rolled and came to rest on its roof and the driver, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was reopened at 10pm last night.
Anyone that saw the collision or the cars involved beforehand is asked to contact PC Shane Schucroft at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
