Man Left With Facial Injuries In Ipswich Robbery

A man has had his wallet and phone stolen during a robbery on Helena Road.

It happened at around 1am this morning.

The victim was walking down Helena Road, behind Aurora restaurant when he was grabbed by a man who said 'give me your money'.

After stealing his mobile phone and wallet the man made off towards Anchor Street, leaving the victim with minor facial injuries.

The offender is described as a white man, no older than 30 years old, approximately 5’9” tall, of a thin build, with short cropped hair and wearing a dark coloured hooded top.
