There has been a 26% rise in the number of children and young people hospitalised after self-harming in the East of England.
Man Stabbed Repeatedly In Ipswich
A man's in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Ipswich.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Dickens Road and Copperfield Road at approximately 6.30pm yesterday evening, Wednesday 22 April, to reports that a 29-year-old man had received multiple stab wounds to the body.
The offender, described as a man of mixed race, then stole the victim's pink and purple bicycle and made off towards Hadleigh Road.
It is believed the offender is known to the victim.
The male victim has been taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The police helicopter was deployed to search the area and police are conducting enquiries to trace the offender.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to call Acting DS James Cassedy from Ipswich CID on 101 quoting CAD 352 of 22.04.15.
