There has been a 26% rise in the number of children and young people hospitalised after self-harming in the East of England.
Man's Body Found On Ipswich Riverbank
The death of a man whose body was found at Pooleys Yard, off Ranelagh Road, in Ipswich this morning is being treated an unexplained, but there are not to be any suspicious circumstances.
Police were alerted around 7am on Wednesday 21 September, to reports a body had been seen lying on the bank of the river.
Emergency services attended and the man, believed to be in his 30s and from the Ipswich area, was recovered.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances around the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage.
Anyone who may have been in the area between 7pm last night and 7am this morning who may have seen anything that may help the investigation is asked to call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD number 32 of today, Wednesday 21 September.
