Norwich: Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Norwich.

Officers were called to Birkbeck Close in Lakenham around 12.40pm on Saturday (7th March) following concerns for the safety of a woman.

A woman in her 50s was found at a property with multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

50-year-old Janusz Wisniewski of Bridge Street, Fakenham, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court today (9th March).
