Over 60 Firefighters Tackle Belton Blaze

Firefighters have been working through the night to put out a thatched house fire in Belton, near Great Yarmouth.

Emergency services were called to the two storey house in Beccles Road at 7.20pm last night.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue tweeted to say: '65 fire fighters and 3 senior commanders on scene. Crews using compressed air foam and main water jets to fight the fire.'

Beccles Road between Belton and Fronton was closed.

Just three weeks ago a fire destroyed a cottage in Oakley near Diss.
