Suffolk Man Charged After Norwich Rape

Police have charged a man from Stowmarket with rape after an incident in Norwich.

At some point between just after midnight and 12.30am early on Friday morning (30 May) a woman in her 20s was attacked in the St Helens Wharf car park near to the Adam and Eve public house.
 
56 year old Clive Howard of Bury Street in Stowmarket has been charged with rape and will appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
 
Police are still keen to hear from any witnesses and should contact Detective Sergeant Chris Burgess on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
