Tasburgh: Doctor Admits Sex Offences
A Norfolk GP has pleaded guilty to the rape and sexual abuse of girls.
Dr Hugh Blaise O'Neill, 61, of Saxlingham Lane, Tasburgh, in South Norfolk, admitted to five sexual offences.
They include two counts of rape and one count of gross indecency against one victim who was under the age of 14 at the time of the offences, and two counts of gross indecency against a second victim, also aged under 14.
The offences, which date to between 1 January 1995 and 31 December 2002, do not relate to his professional role.
O'Neill has been remanded in custody to be sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on 30 January 2015.
