Taxi Driver Attacked In Ipswich

A taxi driver has been attacked in an attempted robbery on Kelly Road in Ipswich.

It happened when he was called to a house on Kelly Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A man opened the taxi door and threatened the driver, then he and another man assaulted him.

The victim drove off in the direction of Dickens Road and lost sight of the two men and nothing was stolen. 

The first man is described as white, between 25 to 30-years-old, approximately 5’9” tall and as wearing a grey hooded jumper.

The second offender is described as a man, approximately 5’10” tall and of a large build.
