Woman Charged With Leiston Murder
A 41-year-old woman arrested in connection with the death of a man in Leiston has been charged by detectives.
Police were contacted at around 9.15am on Monday 15 June, to reports that the body of a man had been found at a house in Grimsey Road.
A Home Office post-mortem examination concluded that the cause of death was compression of the neck. The victim has been formally identified as 80-year-old John Proctor, of Grimsey Road, Leiston.
Susan Warne, of Valley Road, Leiston, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning, Saturday 20 June.
A man has been evicted from his bed at the James Paget University Hospital.
