More than 100 people have lost their lives through suicide in prisons in England and Wales so far this year, an all-time record.
Woman Followed In Bury St Edmunds
Police in Bury St Edmunds are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old woman was followed at the weekend.
The incident took place between 2.40pm and 2.45pm on Saturday 15 August in the wooded area near to Easlea Road.
The woman was walking along a path that runs between the back of the retail park and the A14 where she saw a man who began to walk quickly towards her, before running after her. She then ran back to the retail area car park and found other members of the public.
Police were called and searched the area but were unable to locate the man. He is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of thin build, with short fair hair, wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
