Woman Sexually Assaulted In North Walsham

A woman in her mid 20s has been grabbed and sexually assaulted while walking through St Nicholas Churchyard on Friday night.

As she was walking through the churchyard, just after 11pm, she noticed a group of teenagers.

Shortly after passing them, one followed her and grabbed her around the neck and touched her inappropriately.

When the victim shouted, the offender ran from the scene.

He is described as around 19-years-old, 5ft 7in, of slim build and dark hair and wearing a red hooded fleece. He was also wearing a white plastic charity band on his wrist that had red and black writing on it.

Anyone with information about the attack or that recognises the description is asked to contact PC Nicola Jefferies at Stalham Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
